SAN ANTONIO – (Sept. 9, 2022) In its continued effort to strengthen community relationships with the city of San Antonio, Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) San Antonio participated in the city’s professional soccer club during the club’s Military Appreciation Night.

NTAG San Antonio’s participation served as a reminder that there is a Naval presence in south Texas willing to support and educate the citizens of “Military City USA.”

In addition to setting up their recruiting section, which included the command’s Mobile Engagement Vehicle (MEV), recruiters participated in the opening ceremony proudly displaying the United States Navy Flag.

Under Spurs Sports & Entertainment, San Antonio FC is part of the 28-team USL Championship which according to the team’s website, reaches a population of eighty-four million across North America.

NTAG San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
