A P-8A Poseidon aircraft, assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 40, rests on the runway at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, between operations along the Southern Border on Jan. 31, 2025. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
