U.S. Army Maj. Gen. David W. Gardner, commanding general of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), performs the ammo can lift during the U.S. Marine Corps combat fitness test (CFT) at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., Nov. 10, 2025. JTF-SB personnel joined their Marine counterparts for an early morning CFT to help celebrate their 250th birthday. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
