Maj. Phillip Poundstone, U.S. Space Forces – Space plans and orders branch chief, briefs visitors on the S4S mission during the S4S Open House at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., July 17, 2024. S4S personnel provided tours of the S4S headquarters and the Combined Space Operations Center operations floor and provided briefs with over 500 visitors about the S4S mission, which is to plan, integrate, conduct, and assess global space operations in order to deliver combat-relevant space effects, in, from, and to space, for Combatant Commanders, Coalition partners, the Joint Force, and the Nation.
