SILVER SPRING, Md. (Nov. 30, 2023) Machinist’s Mate (nuclear) 1st Class Vivian Jaquith, from Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC), donates blood as part of the 13th annual Army vs Navy Blood Donor Challenge. Members of the Armed Services Blood Program were on hand to help staff from NMRC and the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research give blood at the event. NMRC conducts medical research, development, testing, evaluation and surveillance to optimize health, operational readiness and performance of Navy, Marine Corps and joint force personnel; delivering world-class, operationally-relevant medical solutions to enhance warfighter readiness through research & development.
