DVIDS – Images – Finding joy through service, shared traditions
Issued by: on
Col. Jolanda L.J. Walker, director, Munson Army Health Center volunteered to serve as the master of ceremonies during Wreaths Across America at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas, Dec. 13. She participated in the ceremony with about a dozen other service members including volunteers from the Fort Leavenworth Sergeant Audie Murphy Club, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and U.S. Coast Guard Pay and Personnel Center, Topeka, Kansas. Volunteering offers proven mental health benefits, shifting focus outward, reminding us that we can make a positive impact even during busy or challenging seasons.
