CorSpice Premieres LIL' HEAT LIL' SWEET Premium Spice Blend Just in Time for Barbecue Season
Cheeky premium spice blend company CorSpice LLC just launched their eighth new premium spice blend: LIL’ HEAT LIL’ SWEET. Spice sommelier (some might say savant) and CorSpice founder and military veteran Bill Domenz describes his new blend as “honey infused with a slight after-kick; think birthday candle hot, not heat-of-a-thousand-suns hot.” LIL’ HEAT LIL’ SWEET intersects sweet with savory — a flavor profile crafted to complement meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables. This new spice blend is designed to enhance all sauces, dips, hors d’oeuvres and even popcorn. The 5.0-ounce bottle retails for $16.75 and has a one-year shelf life.

In 1989, enlisted Marine Bill Domenz was stationed in South Korea when he first discovered his bizarre gift for blending flavors. It was his signature MREs mashup – a curious blend that mimicked his mom’s homemade chili — that had his fellow troops lining up outside of his tent for seconds. When Domenz returned stateside and pursued his civilian career in IT, his passion for new flavor formulations never waned. His family and friends kept returning their empty spice jars for refills of his magic blends. During the pandemic lockdown, Domenz and his wife Amber decided to launch CorSpice LLC with his legacy blend, Private Pork, which remains a fan favorite to this day.
With every jar and bottle sold, Domenz gives a portion of his profits to K9s FOR VETERANS NFP, which helps first responders, military veterans and active-duty military suffering with PTSD (which Domenz was recently diagnosed with) to receive trained service dogs at no cost to them. The funds cover food and veterinarian fees for the lifetime of each dog. Since 2020, CorSpice has donated more than $20,000 — enough to pay for two trained service dogs, which were recently awarded to two military veterans.

About CorSpice LLC
Owned and operated by military veteran Bill Domenz with his wife Amber (Edwards) Domenz, CorSpice LLC launched in August 2020 for two reasons: to exploit Bill’s spice sommelier talents, and to form a business where Domenz could give back to first responders, active-duty military, and military veterans with every bottle he sold. To date, the company offers eight premium spice blends and two hot sauces. They have four new spice blends formulated to go to market in Q2 2023.
