U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Robert Ellason Barrow III, a Marine with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, continued his family’s legacy of military service by completing recruit training and becoming a Marine. Pfc. Barrow was inspired to join by the military service of his family members, most notably that of his great uncle, Gen. Robert Hilliard Barrow, who served as the 27th Commandant of the Marine Corps.
