A grave marked as unknown is displayed at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii, March 25, 2024. Members of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) disinterred eight caskets as part of the agency’s efforts to identify unknown service members lost during the Korean War. The caskets were transferred to the DPAA laboratory, where they will undergo further scientific analysis and possible identification. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jonathan McElderry)
